Will there be another stock market crash in 2020?

After the bloodbath in month of March, stock markets over the globe have recovered sharply in recent months. If you look at the stock market levels right now, you won’t assume world is through a pandemic . Investor sentiments have improved dramatically.

But a fear is ruling on everyone’s mind. Will there be another market crash just like we saw in the march? Is everything on track now? Are we going one way up from this point without peeking back?

We will put forward some important points which you should keep in mind before taking any decision.

Why can there be another stock market crash?

While we may assume humans all over the world have started living with novel corona-virus COVID-19, fear is still ruling over their mind.

It seems stock markets are also reacting to positive news and ignoring negative, but how long will this continue. We have found some reasons which should not be overlooked when it comes to stock markets worldwide.

A second wave of COVID-19

Researchers and scientists all over the world are not ruling out a second and more disastrous wave of novel corona-virus COVID-19 that may hit all over the world around the end of 2020. New cases emerging in China may support this fact.

Keep second wave aside, even now the number of cases are surging rapidly and countries have not been able to control the spread of deadly disease.

Companies going bankrupt

There’s no denying fact the SME’s and MSME’s are facing lot of hurdles working there way forward, but some may succumb and file bankruptcy or insolvency. Event Enterprises with huge balance sheets have started feeling the effects and have started reducing the costs.

Increasing unemployment rate

If a company or industry shuts down or files bankruptcy, it results in loss of jobs for thousands of workers with it. Already unemployment has peaked in many countries.

Slow economic recovery

Countries are struggling to maintain their GDP’s. Rising unemployment, reduce in demands have resulted the countries GDP to make their way to lowest points in recent times.

If you peek through the recent market crashes in history, GDP’s have rarely moved this low.

GDP for India estimated to be around negative 2 percent in 2020 . Even during financial crisis of 2008, it was able to maintain around 3%.

Similarly for USA, predicted GDP has fallen to negative 10%.

Rising tensions between countries

Tensions between USA and China was already mounting over past few months be it through trade deals or blaming each other for pandemic spread.

But recent spike in tensions between India and China over border issues may have increased tensions among investors too. Any more rise in tensions may contribute to fall of market.

What Bulls have in their mind ?

Vaccine trials started on humans

A number of vaccine trials have started around the globes in many countries like USA, UK, India. Bulls believe soon there will be a full proof vaccine which will immunize human against deadly COVID-19. Well, possibility cannot be denied, but it seems a lot of damage has already been done. Even if vaccine comes, providing the same to billions of people will take months of time.

Market has already factored in bad news

Bulls in the market believe impact of COVID-19 is already factored in by market and it is not reacting to bad news anymore. While looking at the way market is behaving in recent weeks it may seem so but who know for how long this may continue. We can hope it is not a bull trap as investors may have entered the market considering fear of missing out the recent positive rally.

Lockdowns restrictions removed or eased

With Lock down restrictions uplifted in many countries and eased along in many others, businesses and industries have started pulling of their work.

Countries providing economic stimulas package

Countries have already provided billions of rupees as part of stimulus packages some handing over the cash directly in the hands of people while some indirectly.

If there is another crash coming be prepared not only for investing but for living through it. We will suggest you to:

1. Set aside some cash to invest if stock market crashes

2. Create an emergency fund

3. Reduce non-essential expenses

While we have put forward some points from both bulls and bears point of you, you are advised to do your own research and take decisions whether you want to enter in the market now or is it wise to wait for an another crash.

Ring of Fire: Solar Eclipse/Surya Grahan – 21st June 2020

What is a solar eclipse?
During a Solar eclipse the Sun, Moon and Earth are in a straight line and the Moon comes between the Sun and the Earth due to which the rays of the sun are blocked from reaching the Earth. This darkens the sky as if it is night time.

There are three kinds of solar eclipses –

Total – During a total solar eclipse, the Moon fully blocks the Sun with the people on Earth unable to see it and there being complete darkness.
Partial – During a partial solar eclipse, the Moon covers a part of the Sun making a uncovered part of sun visible to the people.
Annular – During an annular solar eclipse, the Moon covers the Sun fully, but due to its relatively small size the outer ring of the Sun is completely visible to the people.

Why the Annular solar Eclipse is being called – ‘Ring of fire’?
The Moon will cover the Sun from the center leaving a ring of light visible in the sky. This will happen as the Moon will be far away from Earth, which will make its relative size not big enough to cover the Sun completely.

The annular solar eclipse on June 21 will first start for the people of Congo in Africa and progress through South Sudan, Ethiopia, Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia, the Indian Ocean and Pakistan, before entering India over Rajasthan. From India, the annular phase will be visible in the morning of 21st June during the hours ~9.15 am to ~3.00 pm IST from some places within a narrow corridor of the northern part of the country (parts of Rajasthan, Haryana, and Uttarakhand) and it will be seen as partial solar eclipse from the rest part of the country. This eclipse has said to be of the highest magnitude at the instant of Greatest Eclipse among all the annular solar eclipses between 2003 and 2031. The next annular solar eclipse with a higher magnitude is predicted to be on September 12, 2034. The visibility of Ring is said be visible for very short duration of approximately 1- 1.5 minutes.

According to the Hindu mythology Eclipses or Grahan are considered to be inauspicious . The sun, which is worshiped as a major life force in the universe, disappears during the solar eclipse, making it an omen of all things evil. The absence of the sun’s rays can increase the amount of bacteria and germs in the atmosphere, thereby polluting people.

Similarly in various other mythologies its about the Sun being swallowed, eaten to a bit or stolen by different animals/creatures like in India – Rahu (There is a whole story of Amrit Manthan), China – celestial dragon, Vietnam – giant frog, Korea – mythical Dogs, United States – Bear. The ancient Greeks believed that a solar eclipse was a sign of angry gods and that it was the beginning of disasters and destruction.

Here are some of the Myths that people follow in India during solar eclipses:

  1. Worshiping or touching gods is strictly prohibited during this period. Even temple doors usually stay closed during eclipses. After the eclipse ends, the idols are supposed to be washed with Ganga water to purify them.
  2. Meditation, chanting hymns or mantras and singing devotional songs during an eclipse are supposed to protect one from the evil effects.
  3. The rules dictate that no food should be cooked during the eclipse. Leftovers are finished off before the period of the eclipse. Some people in India leave tulsi or Indian basil leaves on cooked food items, and cover them to keep them safe.
  4. Sleeping, urination, defecation, sexual intercourse and makeup are also prohibited during the eclipse. Pregnant women are considered to be especially susceptible to the evil forces during eclipses. Not only are they supposed to abstain from activities like cutting vegetables and stitching clothes, but in some parts of India, they’re not even supposed to sit with their legs crossed.
  5. After the eclipse is over, people are directed to take a bath, and change into fresh and clean clothes. Sprinkling of Ganga water or taking a dip in the Ganga is also supposed to wash away the evil done by the eclipse.

However, there are no Scientific basis to these myths/claims and they have been debunked by the scientists and astronomers around the world. However, they do emphasize that anyone watching a solar eclipse must protect their eyes.

If you’ve ever watched a solar eclipse you know how exciting the experience can be and also how quickly the experience can go by.

If you are one of the photographers then it would definitely excite you and would be an opportunity to capture the eclipse to your best skills. If you are one of them and have the best of your captures to share and showcase with us, drop an email to – salesforcepredator@gmail.com. We would love to have it in our gallery!

Battling through Life!

Life is a beautiful gift! Acknowledged by all, why is it sometimes we fail and go beyond our capacity to take drastic measures to end it?
Probably this is not a very easy question to answer or even understand, as it may seem!

Recent incidents on extreme measures taken by people to end lives definitely leave our heart aching and when those are someone who are so much loved, established and who people look up to. Its from all sorts of community, that we get to hear the incidences now and then.

Life is fragile and so are the people. Life is easy and so are the people. Life could complicate but is it made by the people?

The fear of failing, fear of judgement, fear of not living up to the expectations, fear of not fitting into the society, fear of acceptance and many such more…
Are these fancy benchmarks set by the society or ourselves to achieve them really paying tolls on our lives?

Today’s human is so vulnerable. We have lost patience. We have forgotten how to be kind. We have forgotten how to love and be loved. We are constantly running and moving forward to make a livelihood. We have insane expectations and reality lives far away from it. So when it hits us, it hits us hard and take us down from where we do not know what is the way back, because in first place we had never really been with ourselves.

Humans are very complex and so have they made their lives. There are many aspects to it – Emotional, Physical and then comes the materialistic lives that we dream of!
We tend to take care of the later two but we fail to manage the first one – our emotional well being. We learn and tend to give importance to everything except ourselves. So when we reach a certain point in life where we start to feel the void, because we never really tried to be ourselves at first place, we surrender.
People do fight and they fight really hard…sometimes only to succumb.

Definitely Goals, Passion, achievements keeps the drive of life on and are necessary but lets not dedicate our lives to it.
Lets stop for a moment, appreciate the good things in life, throw away the pride, laugh hard with the dear ones, extend a helping hand, do not shy away when you need one, be kind because you never know who is battling a war within, give your 100%, do not forget to live in the moment and keep rolling!

Life will happen but always know that you have to last till the end in the battle!

Conspiracy Theorist Warns: World Will End on 21 June This Week!

What if someone tell you this is 2012 and not 2020. You will laugh it off, right? But wait, according to the Julian calendar, we are currently in the year 2012 and not in 2020.

Paolo Tagaloguin put on a series of tweet and later deleted it. It reportedly said that we are technically in 2012 now. “The number of days lost in a year due to the shift into Gregorian Calendar is 11 days… For 268 years using the Gregorian Calendar (1752-2020) times 11 days = 2,948 days. 2,948 days / 365 days (per year) = 8 years,” .

Gregorian calender which was introduced in 1582 by Pope Gregory XIII , seems to have a discrepancy now. The ‘discrepancy’ which Paolo means is that 11 days were lost from every year, in the time it takes Earth to orbit the sun.

So, if you add up those missing days , that would mean June 21, 2020 should actually be December 21, 2012.

People have been pouring out comments since this new conspiracy is trending online.

One Person posted, “When in 1752 everyone switched to the Gregorian calendar, eight years were lost, which means that technically 2020 is 2012”.

“Another one said , now we know why all these is happening in 2020.”

People have been questioning for evidences, but there seems to be none. All we get is fictional stories. There is no credible evidences for this and many find it hard to believe.

If you are reading through this post, you are as curious as we are!
